ASI 046924-9 Roll Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
This surface-mounted unit dispenses standard 8- or 9-in.-wide roll towels up to 800 ft. long and has a stub-roll feature for continuous dispensing. The removable waste receptacle holds 12 gallons (46 L). A lever-operated dispensing mechanism is supplied. Construction is Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish; the unit has a 9-in. stainless steel mounting collar.
The unit measures 17-1/4 in. W x 56 in. H x 10-1/4 in. D. Towels feed by lever action, and feed length can be adjusted for economy using the supplied pin to limit lever stroke. A full roll can be loaded while a partial roll remains and starts feeding automatically when the partial roll is depleted. The locking compartment and receptacle retainer prevent unauthorized access or removal. Empty the waste container manually according to maintenance needs.
Installation
Mount to the wall through the concealed mounting holes using #10 self-threading screws, which are by others. Install the collar on the cabinet before wall mounting. ASI's installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards specifies positioning the towel-dispenser lever no higher than 48 in. above the finished floor; verify applicable project requirements.
