ASI 046921-6 Semi-Recessed Roll Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle
The ASI 046921-6 is a semi-recessed, lever-operated dispenser for standard 8- or 9-inch-wide towel rolls up to 800 feet long, combined with a 13.3-gallon waste receptacle. Its -6 collar is the key distinction from the fully recessed ASI 046921.
Specifications and operation
- Capacity: 13.3 gallons (50.4 L) for waste; accepts towel rolls up to 800 feet long and includes stub-roll capability.
- Towel feed: Depress the lever to dispense towels. A supplied pin limits lever travel to adjust feed length.
- Roll change: A full roll can be loaded while a partial roll is in use; the new roll starts automatically when the partial roll is depleted.
- Construction: Cabinet, frame, and waste container are 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. The door and mechanism back plate are 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, with satin-finish exposed surfaces.
- Waste servicing: Empty the removable waste container manually according to maintenance needs.
Installation requirements
Provide a minimum rough wall opening 15-3/4 inches wide by 54-1/2 inches high by 4 inches deep. Install the semi-recessed collar on the cabinet before mounting the unit, then secure it through the concealed holes with #10 self-threading screws (by others). The top of the rough wall opening is 3/4 inch below the top of the unit. ASI's installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards calls for the towel outlet centerline to be no more than 48 inches above the finished floor; this is manufacturer installation guidance, not a blanket compliance determination.
