ASI 0389-1AC Top-Fill Multi-Feed Foam Soap Dispenser
The ASI 0389-1AC is an AC-powered, vanity-mounted automatic foam soap dispenser in satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel. It is a dispenser head for a multi-feed system: it connects to a Model 0385 control module and a Model 0387 top-fill tank, which is sold separately. The 1.6-gallon tank can supply a system of up to 12 dispensers, with no more than six on either side of the tank.
System requirements and specifications
- System components: Connect the dispenser’s soap tube and COM cable to the Model 0385 control module; the Model 0387 tank is not included with the dispenser head.
- Multi-feed capacity: Additional heads connect by soap tubing. Follow the installation guide and limit the system to six dispensers on each side of the tank.
- Dispensing: When properly connected to the control-pump module, the dispenser delivers approximately 0.24–0.3 oz (7–9 ml) of foam per activation, using approximately 0.02–0.03 oz (0.7–0.9 ml) of liquid soap.
- Soap requirements: Use foam soap with viscosity of 1–100 cP and pH 5.5–8.5. Avoid soap with abrasives or particulates and soaps containing reportable salts, chlorides, or alcohols.
- Finish and power: Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish; this 1AC configuration is AC powered. The manufacturer lists a battery option with a separate Model 0385-BP.
Countertop installation
The dispenser mounts through a countertop hole; the manufacturer’s installation guide specifies a 1-in. hole and the technical sheet lists a vanity deck thickness up to 2 in. Confirm the site conditions and follow the manufacturer’s guide when laying out the opening and connecting the head, control module, and tank.
