ASI 0389-1A Battery-Operated Foam Soap Dispenser

The ASI 0389-1A is a vanity-mounted automatic foam soap dispenser head for a multi-feed system. It has a satin finish over Type 304 stainless steel. The head connects to a control module mounted below the vanity and a Model 0387 top-fill tank; the tank is not included. The manufacturer lists Model 0385-BP as the separate battery option, so confirm the power components for the system configuration.

Specifications and system setup

  • Multi-feed capacity: The shared tank can supply up to 12 dispensers, with a maximum of six on each side of the tank. Additional heads connect by soap tubing.
  • Foam output: When properly connected to the control-pump module in an appropriately configured system, it dispenses approximately 7–9 ml (0.24–0.3 oz) of foam per activation, using approximately 0.7–0.9 ml (0.02–0.03 oz) of liquid soap.
  • Soap requirements: Use foaming soap with viscosity of 1–100 cP and pH 5.5–8.5. Avoid soaps containing reportable salts, chlorides, or alcohols, and soap with abrasives or particulates.
  • Dimensions and fit: The dispenser is 1-1/2 in. in diameter and 3-13/16 in. high. It mounts through a 1-in. countertop hole on a vanity deck up to 2 in. thick.
  • Tank: The separately purchased Model 0387 tank holds 1.6 gal (6 L) and has a counter fill port for refilling the shared supply.

Installation

Mount the dispenser head through the countertop and install the control module below the vanity. Connect the head’s soap tube and COM cable to the module, then connect the feed tubing to the tank or the preceding module in a multi-unit run. Follow the manufacturer’s installation guide for power, tubing, and multi-feed setup.
