ASI 0388-1A Battery-Option Liquid Soap Dispenser
The ASI 0388-1A is a vanity-mounted automatic liquid-soap dispenser head for use with an ASI multi-feed system. It connects to a Model 0386 control module and a Model 0387 top-fill tank; the tank is purchased separately. ASI identifies Model 0385-BP as a separate battery option, so confirm the required power components for the system when ordering.
Specifications and soap requirements
- Dispensing: Approximately 1–1.5 ml (0.034–0.051 oz) per activation when properly connected to a Model 0386 control-pump module.
- Soap: Liquid soap with viscosity of 5–3,000 cP and pH of 5.5–8.5. Avoid soaps containing reportable salts, chlorides or alcohols, and soaps with abrasives or particulates.
- Mounting: Vanity-deck installation through a 1-in. minimum to 1-1/4-in. maximum hole; deck thickness up to 2 in.
- System tank: The Model 0387 tank holds 1.6 gal. (6 L) and is purchased separately.
Plan for the dispenser head at the counter and the control module, tubing and power components below the vanity. Connect the head’s soap tube and sensor cable to the control module, then connect the system feed tube to the tank. Prime the system by activating the dispenser until soap flows from the spout, and follow ASI’s installation guide for setup.
