ASI 0326 Horizontal Recessed Liquid Soap Dispenser
The ASI 0326 is a horizontal, recessed soap dispenser for installations with a 9 in. W × 4-7/8 in. H × 4 in. D minimum rough wall opening. Its satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel construction, 57 fl. oz. (1.7 L) capacity and stem-type push-button valve distinguish this configuration.
Specifications and soap requirements
- Accepts liquid, lotion or detergent soap, including synthetic detergents and antibacterial soaps.
- Use soap with viscosity of 100–3,500 mPa·s (cP) and pH 5.5–8.5; the manufacturer advises avoiding soaps containing reportable salts, chlorides or alcohols.
- The manufacturer states that valve actuation requires less than 5 lbf (22.2 N) and one hand, without tight grasping, pinching or wrist twisting.
- Includes a sight gauge and pin-type tumbler lock.
Installation and refilling
Mount in the wall recess using two #10 self-threading screws (by others) through the concealed mounting holes. The manufacturer’s ADA accessibility installation guidance specifies a valve height no higher than 48 in. above finished floor where clear-floor reach access is provided, or 46 in. where side reach over an obstruction is provided. For access, remove the face plate; the soap vessel opening is on top. The unit can be partially refilled in place and feeds until the soap level falls below the valve intake port. Press the button manually to dispense soap.
