ASI A0247-TRBS TRI-Umph Wall Protector Backsplash Plate
The ASI A0247-TRBS is a surface-mounted ceramic backsplash for use directly behind the ASI Model 20200 TRI-Umph hand dryer. Its absorptive-evaporative plate catches castoff droplets; the hand dryer is not included.

- Overall size: 10-7/16" x 8-7/8" x 3/8" (265 x 226 x 9 mm); the ceramic plate is 9/32" (7.4 mm) thick.
- Plate: Proprietary absorptive-evaporative ceramic matching the composition of the Model 20200 dryer’s water-droplet evaporator plate, with a medium matte gray face to match the dryer.
- Frame: One-piece, black powder-coated 20-gauge steel; it holds the plate on all edges, with no exposed seams or welded joints. Four mounting tabs are formed from the frame edges, and only the gray face is visible within the frame.
- Mounting: Surface-mounted through exposed 3/16" (4.8 mm) diameter holes; eight #8 self-threading screws and appropriately prepared anchors are by others.
- Warranty: One year from date of invoice, according to the manufacturer’s technical data sheet.
Placement and care
Mount the plate centered directly behind the hand chamber of the ASI Model 20200 TRI-Umph dryer. It absorbs droplets that pass the dryer’s ceramic evaporator and continuously evaporates moisture at a rate matching absorption. This helps keep castoff water from soaking into the wall finish behind the dryer; ASI also identifies splash prevention before water reaches the floor as a product feature. Clean the plate when cleaning the dryer, following the dryer Owner Manual instructions.
