ASI 8207 Folding Shower Seat
The surface-mounted seat has slotted Type 304 stainless steel construction for drainage, a self-locking mechanism and one-hand operation to lower it for use or raise it for departure and arrival. It is 18" wide and projects 17-3/8" from the wall when folded down. The manufacturer states it supports loads up to 500 lb maximum if installed properly.
Installation requirements
Before wall finishing, provide concealed anchor plate or blocking as specified in the construction documents or required by local building codes. Concealed mounting plates or anchors and mounting hardware are not supplied; the installer fastens the seat flanges and guide bracket to the concealed support. Follow applicable local building codes. The manufacturer identifies this model as ADA compliant; that designation does not replace proper installation.
