ASI 8209 Rectangular Fold-Up Phenolic Shower Seat
The ASI 8209 is a surface-mounted, four-leg shower seat for installations needing a wide seat that folds against the wall when not in use. Its white, black-core phenolic seat is supported by a Type 304 stainless steel frame, mounting bracket, and retainer hook with satin finish.
Dimensions and use
- Seat measures 48" W x 22-1/2" D; it projects 24" from the wall when open.
- Overall dimensions are 48" W x 17" to 18-1/4" H x 22-1/2" D.
- The seat is slotted for drainage.
- Raise or lower the seat manually with one hand; the spring-detent guide bracket supports it in the use position and spring-locks it for storage.
- When retracted, the legs fold up to keep the seat low-profile against the wall.
Wall-mounting requirement
Provide concealed anchor plate or blocking before wall finishing. Mounting plates or anchors and hardware are not supplied; select appropriate hardware and ensure the installation complies with local building codes.
