ASI 8205-L Left-Hand Padded Folding Shower Seat
The ASI 8205-L is a left-hand, L-shaped padded folding shower seat. It is 33 inches wide and projects 22-7/8 inches from the wall when lowered. The seat folds up when not in use and can be manually lowered or raised with one hand. ASI states that the model meets the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards.
Dimensions and features
- Folded down, it measures 33 inches wide by 17 to 19 inches high by 22-7/8 inches deep.
- The cushion is covered in off-white Naugahyde. The frame, support legs, flanges, and bracket are Type 304 satin-finish stainless steel.
- A spring-detent guide bracket supports the seat in use and holds it in the stored position.
- Maximum support load is 500 lb when properly installed. Manufacturer warranty: one year from invoice date.
Installation
Provide concealed blocking or an anchor plate before wall finishing. Mounting anchors and hardware are not supplied. Fasten the flanges and guide bracket to the concealed support with appropriate hardware, and ensure the mounting configuration complies with local building codes.
