ASI 7404-SD Recessed Soap Dish, Satin Finish
The ASI 7404-SD is a recessed satin-finish soap dish with drywall mounting holes. It has seamless one-piece construction in 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel and a raised lip to help retain soap.
Opening and installation
- Required rough wall opening: 5-1/2 inches wide by 5-1/2 inches high by 2 inches deep.
- The -SD suffix specifies satin finish with drywall holes. The related 7404-SW option has wet-wall lugs.
- For general utility placement, install with the top of the soap shelf 52 inches above finished floor or 6 inches above the vanity basin.
- For standard drywall mounting, use two No. 10 stainless steel screws (by others) long enough to penetrate blocking behind the opening by approximately 1/2 inch. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant (by others) behind the flange and under the screw heads.
