ASI 0400 Recessed Drywall Soap Dish
The ASI 0400 is a recessed Type 304 stainless steel soap dish for drywall installation. Unlike model 0398, it has no bar; the optional Model 40 mounting clamp is sold separately.
Specifications and mounting
- Bright polished finish; raised shelf dimples help water drain and provide a gripping surface to retain soap.
- Overall dimensions: 7-1/8 inches wide x 5 inches high x 3-3/8 inches deep.
- Required rough wall opening: 6-1/8 inches wide x 4-1/8 inches high x 4 inches deep.
- Standard mounting uses two #8 screws (by others) secured into blocking behind the opening, with silicone sealant behind the flange and in the screw holes.
- Alternatively, order the Model 40 drywall clamp separately; installation also calls for silicone sealant. The manufacturer specifies a one-year warranty from invoice date.
