ASI 7404-BD Recessed Soap Dish, Bright Finish
The ASI 7404-BD is a recessed soap dish for installations requiring a bright finish and drywall-hole mounting. Its seamless one-piece Type 304 stainless steel construction has a raised lip to help retain soap.
Specifications and installation
- Material: 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel.
- Mounting: recessed; the -BD suffix specifies bright finish with drywall holes. The wet-wall-lug option is model 7404-BW.
- Required rough wall opening: 5-1/2" W x 5-1/2" H x 2" D.
- For standard drywall installation, the manufacturer specifies two No. 10 stainless steel screws (by others) long enough to penetrate blocking behind the opening by approximately 1/2", plus a continuous bead of silicone sealant behind the flange and under the screw heads.
