ASI 6459 Recessed Waste Receptacle
The ASI 6459 is a recessed, 4-gallon stainless steel waste receptacle. Its satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel construction has a one-piece 18-gauge full-face door and a 20-gauge cabinet. Waste is inserted through a spring-assisted, self-closing push door; the tumbler-locked cabinet restricts access. The removable waste container has a handle and is emptied manually as maintenance needs require.

- Capacity: 4 gallons (15 L).
- Overall dimensions: 14-1/4 inches wide by 28 inches high by 4-1/2 inches deep.
- Required rough wall opening: 12-3/4 inches wide by 26-1/2 inches high by at least 4-1/4 inches deep.
- The removable waste container has a handle for removal.
Recess installation
Mount in a wall recess or partition with #10 self-threading screws through the concealed mounting holes; screws are by others. Manufacturer guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards calls for installing the unit with its top edge no higher than 48 inches above the finished floor.
