ASI 04733 Recessed Waste Receptacle
This recessed receptacle has a self-closing panel and a removable 3-gallon (11.4 L) Type 304 stainless steel waste container with a satin finish. Users push the panel to deposit waste. Empty the unit by unlocking the door and removing the container; the maintenance schedule determines the service interval.
Recess and installation
The unit measures 14-1/4" W x 28" H x 4-1/2" D and requires a rough wall opening at least 12-3/4" W x 26-1/2" H x 4" D. Mount it through the concealed holes with #10 self-threading screws, which are by others. The manufacturer’s general-utility guidance is to install the bottom of the unit 20" AFF; its stated 2010 ADA guidance is to place the top edge no higher than 48" AFF.
