ASI 3860-P Horizontal Grab Bar, 30" x 18"
The ASI 3860-P is a 30" x 18" horizontal grab bar for restroom installations requiring a peened grip surface and concealed mounting screws. Its 1-1/2" O.D. Type 304 stainless steel tube has a satin-finish snap-on flange cover.

- Type 304 stainless steel snap-on cover, 22 gauge and 3-3/16" (81 mm) in diameter, with satin finish.
- Concealed mounting flange is 3-1/8" (79 mm) in diameter and 1/8" thick, with two screw holes and three locking dimples.
Installation considerations
Provide appropriate anchoring and wall backing in accordance with local codes or project plans before finishing the wall. ASI specifies two #10 self-tapping pan-head screws and flat washers by others, or another fastener system suited to conditions at each flange; anchors are available separately. For installation aligned with the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, the manufacturer specifies the top of the bar at 33" to 36" above the finished floor. Wall mounting and fastener selection are critical to the system.
