ASI 3774-P Horizontal Peened Grab Bar, 18-1/8" x 33-1/8"
The ASI 3774-P is a Type 304 stainless-steel horizontal grab bar with a peened surface for projects specifying this non-slip finish. Its snap-on satin cover conceals the mounting flange and screws.

Mounting and placement
Use the grab bar as a template to locate and pre-drill the mounting holes. ASI specifies two #10 self-tapping pan-head screws and flat washers per flange, or another suitable fastener system; screws and washers are by others. Provide appropriate anchoring and backing before wall finishing, since the wall attachment is critical to the grab-bar system. ASI's installation guidance for its stated 2010 ADA placement is a top-of-bar height of 33" to 36" above finished floor; confirm project requirements for the installation.
