ASI 3804-L 90-Degree Angle Grab Bar, Left Hand, 16" x 32"
This left-hand 90-degree grab bar has a 1-1/2" O.D. Type 304 stainless-steel tube with a satin finish. Its concealed mounting flange is 3-1/8" O.D., 1/8" thick Type 304 stainless steel, with two screw holes and three locking dimples. The 22-gauge Type 304 stainless-steel cover has a satin finish, measures 3-3/16" in diameter, and snaps over the dimples to conceal the screws.
Mounting screws and flat washers are by others. ASI specifies two #10 self-tapping pan-head screws and flat washers, or another fastener system suited to the conditions at each flange. Appropriate anchoring and backing must be provided before wall finishing; anchors are available from ASI and must be specified separately. ASI’s installation guidance for 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards specifies installing the bar top 33" to 36" above the finished floor.
