ASI 3704-LP Left-Hand 90° Peened Angle Grab Bar
The ASI 3704-LP is a 16" x 32" left-hand 90° angle grab bar with a peened bar surface. It has 1-1/4" diameter, 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel tubing and a satin-finish snap-on cover that conceals the mounting screws.

- Configuration: left-hand, 90° angle; 16" x 32".
- Bar surface: peened; ASI identifies the -P suffix as the peened option.
- Tubing: 1-1/4" diameter, 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel.
- Mounting flange: concealed, 1/8" thick and 3-1/8" O.D., with two screw holes and three locking dimples.
- Cover: satin-finish, 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel; 3-3/16" diameter, snapping over the flange dimples.
Mounting and installation
Provide suitable wall backing and anchoring before finishing the wall. Fasteners and washers are by others. ASI specifies two #10 self-tapping pan-head screws and flat washers per flange, or another suitable fastener system for the wall conditions. Wall attachment and fastener sizing are critical to the installed grab-bar system. For the manufacturer's stated 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards installation guidance, position the top of the bar 33" to 36" above finished floor; verify project requirements. ASI anchors are available separately and must be specified for the scheduled grab-bar style.
