ASI 3704-RP Right-Hand 90-Degree Angle Grab Bar, 16" x 32"
The ASI 3704-RP is a right-hand, 16" x 32" 90-degree angle grab bar for installations requiring a peened surface and concealed snap-on flange covers. ASI identifies the -P suffix as its optional non-slip surface.
Specifications
- 1-1/4" outside-diameter, 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel tubing.
- Peened tube surface; ASI describes the -P option as non-slip.
- Concealed mounting flange: 1/8" thick and 3-1/8" outside diameter, with two screw holes and three locking dimples.
- 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel snap-on cover, 3-3/16" in diameter, with a satin finish.
Installation guidance
Mounting fasteners, suitable anchoring, and wall backing are provided by others. ASI specifies two #10 self-tapping pan-head screws and flat washers, or another suitable fastener system, for each flange. Provide backing and anchoring before wall finishing; anchors are available from ASI and must be specified separately. For installation guidance related to the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, the manufacturer specifies installing the top of the bar 33" to 36" above the finished floor.
