The ASI 3801-36-41 is a surface-mounted, 36-inch straight grab bar with smooth 1-1/2-inch outside-diameter tubing and a matte black powder-coated finish. Its snap-on cover conceals the mounting screws.

Installation and care
Use the bar to mark and pre-drill the mounting holes. Two #10 self-threading flat- or oval-head screws, or another suitable fastener system, are required and are by others. Provide appropriate anchoring and wall backing for site conditions before finishing the wall; anchors are available from ASI but must be specified separately.

This is manufacturer guidance; wall construction and the installed mounting system are critical to the result, so this guidance is not a blanket compliance guarantee.
Clean accessible surfaces with mild liquid soap, then wipe and dry. Do not use abrasive powders or pads, toilet or tile cleaners, ammonia solutions above 1% by volume, acids, lye, or enzyme-containing solutions. In shower areas, provide ventilation to remove excess humidity.
