ASI 3801-18AW Germ Guard™ 18-Inch Grab Bar
The ASI 3801-18AW is an 18-inch straight grab bar with snap-flange mounting and a white antimicrobial powder coating containing silver ions. ASI states that the coating presents silver ions at the surface for the grab bar's lifetime.
Specifications and coating
- Length: 18 inches; stainless steel tubing: 1-1/2 inches in diameter.
- The concealed Type 304 stainless steel mounting flange is 1/8 inch thick and 3-1/8 inches in diameter, with two screw holes and three locking dimples.
- The Type 304 stainless steel cover has a satin finish, is 22 gauge, and measures 3-3/16 inches in diameter.
- ASI reports an antimicrobial kill rate exceeding 99.95% for bacteria, algae, fungus, mold, mildew and yeasts, verified by independent testing to JIS Z 2801, corresponding to ISO 22196:2007.
- ASI reports independent ASTM testing of coating durability for salt-spray corrosion, cross-cut adhesion and impact peel.
