ASI 3501-42P 42-Inch Peened Straight Grab Bar
The ASI 3501-42P is a 42-inch straight grab bar for installations requiring exposed flanges. It has peened Type 304 stainless steel tubing and a satin finish.
Specifications
- Length: 42 inches; tubing: 1-1/2-inch outside diameter.
- Material and finish: Type 304 stainless steel with a peened surface and satin finish.
- Exposed mounting flanges: 3 inches in diameter and 1/8 inch thick.
- Each flange has three drilled and countersunk mounting holes.
Installation guidance
Screws and anchors are not included. Select suitable fasteners for the installation conditions and provide adequate wall backing. ASI's guidance calls for appropriate anchoring and backing before the wall is finished. When following the manufacturer's guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, install with the top of the bar 33 to 36 inches above the finished floor.
