ASI 3456-P 54" x 36" Peened Horizontal Grab Bar
The ASI 3456-P is a 54" x 36" horizontal grab bar with 1-1/4" O.D., 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel tubing, a satin finish, and the -P peened option for a non-slip surface.
Specifications
- Exposed flanges: 3" diameter and 1/8" thick, with three countersunk mounting holes per flange.
- Mounting screws are not provided. The holes accommodate #10 flat-head screws or 1/4" pan-head screws; use an appropriate fastener system for the site conditions.
Mounting guidance
Provide appropriate anchoring and wall backing before finishing the wall. The manufacturer states that wall mounting and an adequately sized fastener system are critical to meeting its strength requirements. For the manufacturer's 2010 ADA installation guidance, position the top of the bar 33"–36" above the finished floor. Confirm project requirements and local codes.
