ASI 3001-24 Concealed-Mount Grab Bar-Towel Bar
This 24-inch straight grab bar-towel bar has 1-inch-diameter, 18-gauge Type 304 (18-8) stainless steel tubing with a satin finish. Each 3-inch-diameter flange is heliarc welded to the tubing with a concealed bead and is 11 gauge (3 mm) thick. Three tamper-resistant 1/4-28 stainless steel hex-socket set screws are supplied for each flange. The concealed-mounting tenon plates are case-hardened, cadmium-plated 13-gauge (2.3 mm) steel.
Mounting requirements
Secure each tenon plate to the wall with a 1/4-inch bolt (by others) through its elongated slot, which provides 1 inch of vertical and 3/16 inch of horizontal adjustment. Fit the flange over the plate and tighten the supplied set screws. Appropriate anchoring and wall backing must be provided before wall finishing. Anchors are available from ASI and must be specified separately.
