ASI 129 Clothes Hook Strip, Front Mount
The ASI 129 is an 18-inch front-mount clothes/towel hook strip for finished walls. Its Type 304 stainless steel hooks snap down when overloaded beyond 35 lb, and the socket housing prevents them from being set vertically upward.
Specifications and installation
- Type 304 stainless steel with satin finish; 14-gauge back plate.
- Three-eighths-inch-diameter solid-bar hooks with 1-inch swivel trip-balls.
- Overall dimensions: 18 inches wide by 5-1/2 inches high by 2-1/4 inches deep.
- Surface mount using the six supplied 1/4-20 x 2-inch stainless steel pin-Torx button-head machine screws; wall anchors are by others.
- ASI’s manufacturer guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards is to install the unit with the tops of the hooks no more than 48 inches above the finished floor.
