ASI 127 Front-Mount Clothes Hook Strip
This 18-inch hook strip is fabricated from type 304 stainless steel alloy 18-8, with 7-gauge hooks, 11-gauge brackets, and a 14-gauge wall plate. Hook tension is adjustable with a captive stainless steel spanner screw. When correctly set, hooks drop down when the load exceeds 35 lb (16 kg); the hook and bracket geometry prevents the hooks from being set vertically upward.
The wall plate has six mounting holes for the supplied 1/4-20 x 2-inch button-head pin-Torx machine screws. Suitable wall anchors or alternate wall preparation are required and are not supplied; the installer selects anchors for the wall condition. The unit measures 18 x 5-1/2 x 3 inches.
Manufacturer guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards specifies installing the unit with the tops of the hooks no higher than 48 inches above the finished floor.
