ASI 121 Chase-Mount Clothes Hook
This Type 304 stainless steel hook has a satin finish, an 11-gauge bracket, and a 7-gauge hook. The hook releases downward when overloaded beyond 35 lb; its tension may be adjusted to maintain the trip threshold over time.
The unit mounts from the rear using four 1/4-20 threaded studs, washers, and nuts, which are supplied. Standard studs suit walls or partitions up to 6 inches thick; specify the wall thickness for longer studs when it exceeds 6 inches.
Installation guidance
For the manufacturer's 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards installation guidance, place the hook centerline no higher than 54 inches AFF for clear floor side reach, or 48 inches AFF for clear floor forward reach. This is manufacturer guidance, not a blanket compliance determination.
