ASI 1224-24 24-Inch Shower Curtain Rod with Concealed Mounting Flanges
The ASI 1224-24 is a 24-inch wall-mounted shower curtain rod with 1-inch-diameter type 304 stainless steel tubing and concealed mounting flanges. One locking sleeve includes a screw to help prevent rod rotation.
Specifications and installation
- The rod has a satin finish and installs in a straight section between two mounting flanges.
- The concealed-flange mounting uses wall-mounting lugs and locking sleeves. The mounting lugs have two holes for #10 round- or pan-head screws, furnished by others.
- For a standard 72-inch ASI 1200 or 1200-V curtain with 1200-SHU hooks, the manufacturer recommends setting the rod centerline 74-1/2 inches above finished floor or 67 inches above the tub rim to provide 6 inches of bottom overlap.
- When properly installed, the flanges hold the rod captive. Significant body weight can cause the rod to bend and pull from the flanges.
