ASI 1214-2-24 Shower Curtain Rod Tubing
The ASI 1214-2-24 is a 24-inch wall-mounted shower curtain rod tube for installation between two mounting flanges. It is tubing only; the two #1214-1 flanges are sold separately.
Specifications and use
- 24 inches long with a 1-inch diameter.
- 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
- Use with specified shower curtains hung on 1200-SHU hooks or other hooks.
- When properly installed, the rod is held captive by the flanges and may rotate if turned by hand.
- The rod will bend and pull from the flanges if significant body weight is suspended.
Installation guidance
Install the rod in a straight section between the flanges, leaving no more than 1/4 inch of total wall clearance. Seal the screw holes beneath the flanges to help prevent sprayed water from entering the wall.
