ASI 1214-2-30 Shower Curtain Rod Tubing
The ASI 1214-2-30 is a 30-inch wall-mounted shower curtain rod tube for installation between two mounting flanges. It is tubing only; the #1214-1 mounting flanges are sold separately.
Specifications and use
- 30 inches long with a 1-inch diameter.
- 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
- Use with specified shower curtains hung on 1200-SHU hooks or other hooks.
- When properly installed, the rod is held captive by the flanges and may rotate if turned by hand.
- The rod will bend and pull from the flanges if significant body weight is suspended.
Installation guidance
Install the rod in a straight section between two flanges, leaving no more than 1/4 inch of total wall clearance. Seal screw holes beneath the flanges to help prevent sprayed water from entering the wall.
