ASI 1204-C18 Stainless Steel Ceiling Support
The ASI 1204-C18 is an 18-inch ceiling support for the ASI 1204 heavy-duty shower rod. It is made of Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, and a stainless steel set screw secures the 1-1/4-inch rod in the sleeve.
Specifications
- 18-inch drop, measured from the mounting surface to the centerline of the rod sleeve.
- Flat mounting flange: 3 inches in diameter and 1/8 inch thick, with three countersunk holes for 1/4-inch screws.
- Support tubing: 1-inch diameter, 20 gauge; the heavy-wall sleeve accommodates a 1-1/4-inch shower rod.
Mounting and use
Align the support sleeve centerline with the mounting height of the rod flanges. Insert the rod through the sleeve and place the separately specified trapped flanges at either end. Secure the ceiling flange with screws and suitable blocking, anchors, or other ceiling preparation; these are supplied by others. Lock the rod in the sleeve with the provided set screw. When correctly installed, the rod and flanges support specified shower curtain(s); significant body weight can cause the rod to bend and pull from the flanges.
