ASI 1201-A Curved Shower Curtain Rod
The ASI 1201-A is for surface mounting across the outside face walls of a 60"-wide shower enclosure. Its rod length adjusts from 61" to 63"; the outward curve provides 8-1/4" more shoulder room at the enclosure midpoint than a similarly placed straight rod.
Specifications and mounting
- 18-gauge, 1" OD Type 304 (18-8) stainless steel tubing with a #4 satin finish.
- Chrome-finish, heavy-duty rust-proof Zamak 3 flanges, each with two countersunk holes for #10 (M5) flat- or oval-head screws; screws are by others.
- The rod locks against rotation in its brackets with the supplied setscrews. A complete instruction manual is provided.
- For use with the 72" Model 1200-V shower curtain and Model 1200-SHU hooks; order both separately.
For a 6" bottom curtain overlap, the manufacturer specifies installing the rod centerline 74-1/2" above the finished floor (AFF) or 67" above the tub rim. The included mounting instructions cover drywall or masonry walls.
