ASI 1201-B Curved Shower Curtain Rod
The ASI 1201-B is for surface mounting between the opposing walls of an approximately 60"-wide shower enclosure. Its 60" rod (± 1/2") has an outward curve that provides 8-1/4" more shoulder room at the enclosure midpoint than a similarly placed straight rod.
Specifications and mounting
- 18-gauge, 1" OD Type 304 stainless steel tubing with a #4 satin finish.
- Chrome-finish, heavy-duty rust-proof Zamak 3 flanges, each with two countersunk holes for #10 (M5) flat- or oval-head screws; screws are by others.
- The rod locks against rotation in the brackets with supplied setscrews. A mounting instruction manual is provided with each unit.
- For use with the 72" Model 1200-V shower curtain and Model 1200-SHU hooks; order both separately.
For a 6" bottom curtain overlap, the manufacturer specifies installing the rod centerline 74-1/2" above the finished floor (AFF) or 67" above the tub rim. Included mounting instructions cover drywall or masonry walls.
