ASI 1201-B-41 Curved Shower Curtain Rod, Inside Opposite-Wall Mount
The ASI 1201-B-41 is a 60-inch matte black curved shower curtain rod for installation between opposite enclosure walls. Its outward bow adds 8-1/4 inches of shoulder room at the enclosure midpoint compared with a similarly placed straight rod.
Model details
- Fits a 60-inch-wide enclosure; rod length is 60 inches ± 1/2 inch (1524 ± 13 mm).
- 18-gauge, 1-inch outside-diameter tubing fabricated of alloy 18-8 type 304 stainless steel, with a matte black powder-coated finish.
- Heavy-duty rust-proof Zamak 3 flanges have a matching matte black powder-coated finish.
- Each flange has two countersunk 15/64-inch holes for #10 (M5) flat- or oval-head screws; screws are by others.
- For use with ASI model 1200-V shower curtain, 72 inches long, and model 1200-SHU hooks; order both separately.
Mounting and installation
The rod installs between two brackets and locks against rotation with the supplied setscrews. For this B model, mount the brackets on the opposite walls at the sides of the enclosure opening. A mounting instruction sheet for drywall or masonry walls and a complete instruction manual are included. ASI specifies mounting the rod centerline 74-1/2 inches above finished floor or 67 inches above the tub rim to provide 6 inches of curtain overlap at the bottom.
