ASI 1224-66 66-Inch Shower Curtain Rod with Concealed Mounting Flanges
The ASI 1224-66 is a 66-inch, wall-mounted shower curtain rod with 1-inch-diameter Type 304 stainless steel tubing. It is specified for use with standard 72-inch ASI Model 1200 or 1200-V shower curtains and Model 1200-SHU hooks.
Specifications and installation
- Length: 66 inches (1676 mm); tubing diameter: 1 inch (25 mm).
- Install the rod in a straight section between two mounting flanges. The flanges’ mounting lugs have two holes for #10 round- or pan-head screws; screws are furnished by others.
- For a 72-inch Model 1200 or 1200-V curtain with Model 1200-SHU hooks, set the rod centerline 74-1/2 inches above finished floor or 67 inches above the tub rim to obtain 6 inches of bottom overlap.
- Rods longer than 72 inches require ceiling hanger Model 1224-C18.
- One flange sleeve includes a locking screw intended to prevent rod rotation. When properly installed, the rod is held captive by the flanges, but may rotate if turned by hand. The rod will bend and pull from the flanges if significant body weight is suspended.
