ASI 0751-A Heavy-Duty Surface-Mounted Robe Hook
The ASI 0751-A is an exposed, surface-mounted robe hook made of satin chrome-plated brass. The manufacturer states it can support over 181 lb (82 kg) when properly attached to a building element; the mounting configuration must be capable of supporting the load.
Specifications
- Dimensions: 2-3/4" (70 mm) flange diameter x 3-1/4" (83 mm) projection.
- Mounting: Three countersunk holes for #10 screws on the 2-3/4" (70 mm) diameter flange.
- Fasteners: Stainless steel Phillips flat- or oval-head #10 self-threading screws are specified; screws are provided by others to suit wall conditions.
- Installation: Follow local building codes. The manufacturer’s 2010 ADA installation guidance specifies a hook centerline no higher than 54" (1372 mm) AFF where clear floor side-reach access is provided, or 48" (1219 mm) AFF where only clear floor forward-reach access is provided.
For routine cleaning, the manufacturer recommends a soft clean rag with mild detergent, followed by a water-moistened clean rag and then a dry rag. Manufacturer warranty: one year from invoice date.
