ASI 0663-T Velare BTM Mirror Cabinet with Foam Soap and Paper Towel Dispensers
The ASI 0663-T Velare™ Behind the Mirror (BTM) system is a wall-mounted cabinet with a Type 304 stainless steel body, frameless mirror, hands-free automatic foam soap dispenser, and paper towel dispenser. The soap tank holds 0.4 gal (1.5 L), and the towel dispenser holds up to 500 towels. Backlit icons identify the functions provided below the mirror.
Configuration and specifications
- Overall dimensions: 23-5/8 in. W × 35-7/16 in. H × 7-9/16 in. D (600 × 900 × 192 mm).
- The 1/4-in. (6-mm) frameless tempered-glass mirror conforms to ASTM C-1048 and has pencil edges and eased corners. A stainless-steel intermediate stiffener and back plate have integral welded support mounts, hinge, and lock keeper.
- The mirror door has a concealed, full-width 3/16-in. (4.8-mm) piano hinge, tumbler lock and key, and twin damped gas springs. The springs assist opening from 15° to 90° and cushion the door at full open and when lowering it to the closed position.
- For Z-fold (multifold) towels, use the MFTA-2 adapter. For C-fold towels, remove the adapter and store it inside the cabinet next to the towel chute.
- Mirror backlights operate on 100–240 VAC. A concealed quad (double-duplex) outlet by others is required behind the cabinet. The standard appliance power cord and supplied AC adapters connect at installation.
- Use foam soap with viscosity of 0–100 cP (mPa·s) and pH 5.5–8.5. Refill the 0.4-gal (1.5-L) tank as needed; keep the soap tube unkinked and unpinched when refitting the pump assembly.
Installation guidance
Provide appropriate wall reinforcement and a quad outlet before installation. The suggested mounting height places the bottom of the module 16–20 in. (406–508 mm) above the vanity top. Secure the two wall-mounting hanger hooks to appropriate wall reinforcement with twelve #12 self-threading pan-head screws (by others), then hang the cabinet on the hooks. Install two additional #12 self-threading locking screws (by others) to prevent the cabinet from being lifted off the hooks. Matching filler modules (FM) are available as spacers between cabinets.
