ASI 0661-1 Velare Behind-the-Mirror Soap Dispenser and Hand Dryer System
The ASI 0661-1 Velare BTM is a wall-mounted Type 304 stainless steel cabinet with a frameless mirror, automatic liquid soap dispenser, and 110-120V high-speed hand dryer with a removable HEPA filter. Backlit icons identify the functions concealed behind the mirrored door.
Configuration and specifications
- Cabinet: Type 304 stainless steel with satin finish; 23-5/8 x 35-7/16 x 7-9/16 inches (600 x 900 x 192 mm).
- Mirror door: 1/4-inch (6 mm) frameless tempered glass conforming to ASTM C-1048, with pencil edges and eased corners, a stainless steel stiffener, and a stainless steel back plate.
- Door hardware: concealed full-width piano hinge, tumbler lock and key, and twin damped gas springs that assist opening from 15° to 90° and cushion the door at full open and when closing.
- Hand dryer: automatic, no-touch operation; 110-120V; removable HEPA filter.
- Soap dispenser: hands-free automatic operation with a 0.4-gallon (1.5 L) tank. Use liquid soap with viscosity of 100-3,000 cP (mPa·s) and pH 5.5-8.5.
- Power: mirror backlighting operates on 100-240 VAC through a quad outlet concealed behind the cabinet. AC adapters for the LED lighting and soap dispenser are supplied; the outlet and hand-dryer electrical service are by others.
- Matching filler modules are available as spacers between cabinets.
Installation and replenishment
Prepare appropriate wall reinforcement and a quad outlet before installation. Mount the cabinet using twelve #12 self-threading pan-head screws through the mounting plates and install two additional #12 locking screws to prevent the cabinet from being lifted off the hanger hooks; screws and reinforcement are by others. The suggested mounting height places the cabinet bottom 16-20 inches (406-508 mm) above the vanity top. Review the installation guide before work begins.
Refill the soap tank with soap within the stated viscosity and pH ranges. When replacing the pump assembly, check that the soap tube is not kinked or pinched. The cabinet has a tumbler lock and key; ASI lists a one-year warranty from the date of invoice.
