ASI 0661-2 Velare BTM Mirror Cabinet with Hand Dryer and Soap Dispenser
The ASI 0661-2 is a surface-mounted Velare Behind the Mirror system with a frameless mirror, hands-free liquid soap dispenser, and 208–240V high-speed hand dryer with a removable HEPA filter. Backlit icons identify the functions at the cabinet’s bottom panel.
Features and dimensions
- Type 304 stainless steel cabinet with satin finish; overall dimensions are 23-5/8 x 35-7/16 x 7-9/16 inches (600 x 900 x 192 mm).
- 1/4-inch (6 mm) frameless tempered-glass mirror conforming to ASTM C-1048, with pencil edges and eased corners, an intermediate stainless steel stiffener, and a stainless steel back plate with integral welded support mounts.
- The mirrored door uses a concealed, full-width 3/16-inch (4.8 mm) piano hinge, tumbler lock and key, and twin damped gas springs. The springs assist opening from 15° to 90° and cushion the door at full open and when lowering it to the closed position.
- Use liquid soap with viscosity of 100–3,000 cP (mPa·s) and pH 5.5–8.5.
- Mirror backlights operate on 100–240 VAC through a concealed quad (double-duplex) outlet behind the cabinet (by others). Matching filler modules are available as spacers between cabinets.
Installation and maintenance
Prepare appropriate wall reinforcement and electrical service before installation. ASI suggests positioning the cabinet bottom 16–20 inches (406–508 mm) above the vanity top. The twelve mounting screws and two security-locking screws are supplied by others; the dryer’s electrical service is also supplied and connected by others.
