ASI 0625-4836 Stainless Steel Channel Frame Mirror with Shelf

This 48 x 36 inch mirror pairs a one-piece, roll-formed 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel channel frame with an 18-gauge satin-finish shelf. The frame encases the mirror and backing with tight mitered corners; the 5-inch-deep shelf is welded to the face frame and has returned, hemmed edges. The standard plate-glass mirror is warranted against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.

Mounting and installation

The mirror is surface mounted on wall brackets. Install the “H” wall brackets level and plumb using #8 or #10 pan-head screws, which are by others. Hang the mirror on the brackets and secure it with the theft-resistant locking screw; the #6-32 screw is supplied separately, taped to the mirror back, and should be started before hanging.

ASI’s installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and ABA Standards 2015 calls for the bottom edge of the reflecting surface to be no higher than 40 inches above the finished floor. Confirm project requirements for the installation.
