ASI 0605-4836 Stainless Steel Angle Frame Mirror with Shelf
The ASI 0605-4836 is a surface-mounted plate-glass mirror with a stainless steel frame and a 5-inch-wide shelf welded to the face frame.
Construction and specifications
- Frame and shelf are Type 304 (18-8), 18-gauge stainless steel with satin-finish exposed surfaces.
- The frame has unitized welded construction; its mitered corners are welded and polished. Shelf edges are returned and hemmed.
- Standard glazing is 1/4-inch #1 quality plate/float glass, silver-coated and hermetically sealed with electrolytic copper plating.
- An expanded polyethylene microcell foam filler provides shock absorption and is water resistant. The mirror is warranted against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
Mounting guidance
Install the bracket level and plumb using #10 self-threading screws (by others), hang the mirror on the bracket, and tighten the locking screws at the top and bottom. ASI's installation guidance for the cited 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards says the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40 inches above the finished floor; confirm project requirements for the installation.
