ASI 0625-1822 Chan-Lok Frame Plate Glass Mirror with Shelf, 18 in. W x 22 in. H
The surface-mounted ASI 0625-1822 is an 18 in. wide x 22 in. high plate-glass mirror with a satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel frame and a welded 5 in. deep shelf. The shelf is 18 gauge stainless steel with returned, hemmed edges; the frame is 20 gauge.
Specifications and construction
- Standard glazing is 1/4 in. #1 quality plate glass, silver-coated and hermetically sealed with electrolytic copper plating; warranted against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
- A one-piece stainless steel channel encases the mirror and backing; the corners are tightly mitered. Exposed frame surfaces have a satin finish.
- The shelf is welded to the face frame. Its returned, hemmed edges are specified for rigidity and safety.
Installation
Install the “H” wall brackets level and plumb using only #8 or #10 pan-head screws, which are by others. Start the supplied #6-32 x 3/4 in. Phillips pan-head locking screw, taped to the mirror back, before hanging the mirror on the brackets; then tighten it at the bottom. ASI's guidance for installations intended to meet the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards says the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40 in. above the finished floor; confirm applicable project requirements.
