ASI 0620-1822 Chan-Lok Frame Plate Glass Mirror, 18" W x 22" H
The ASI 0620-1822 is an 18" wide x 22" high surface-mounted plate glass mirror. Its one-piece, roll-formed Type 304 stainless steel Chan-Lok channel encases the mirror and backing, with a satin finish and tight mitered corners; theft-resistant locking screws secure the mirror to its wall brackets.
Construction and mounting
- Frame: 20-gauge Type 304, alloy 18-8 stainless steel with a satin finish; the channel measures 1/2" x 5/8" (13 x 16 mm).
- Mirror: plate glass, with a 1/4" (6.4 mm) thickness specified for the standard glazing.
- Install the wall brackets level and plumb using #8 or #10 pan-head screws, supplied by others. Hang the mirror on the brackets and tighten the locking screw; the #6-32 x 3/4" Phillips pan-head screw is supplied separately and taped to the mirror back. Start the screw before hanging the mirror.
- For installation following the manufacturer's 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and ABA Standards 2015 guidance, the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40" (1016 mm) above finished floor.
