Plate glass mirror with 5-inch-deep shelf
This 16" W x 30" H surface-mounted mirror has a one-piece stainless steel channel frame that encloses the mirror and backing. The exposed Type 304 stainless steel frame is 20 gauge with a satin finish; standard glazing is 1/4" plate glass. The welded 18-gauge stainless steel shelf is 5" deep, has a satin finish, and has returned and hemmed edges for rigidity and safety.
Install the H wall brackets level and plumb using #8 or #10 pan-head screws (by others). Start the #6-32 x 3/4" Phillips pan-head locking screw, supplied separately and taped to the mirror back, before hanging the mirror; then hang it on the brackets and tighten the screw. ASI’s guidance for the cited 2010 ADA and 2015 ABA standards says the reflecting surface’s bottom edge should be no higher than 40" above the finished floor.
