ASI 0600-C1418 Inter-Lok Angle Frame Metal Mirror, 14" W x 18" H
The ASI 0600-C1418 is a surface-mounted 14 x 18 inch mirror with a Type 304 stainless steel reflective panel—not plate glass—and an interlocking angle frame. Its distinguishing C configuration is a 20-gauge metal mirror polished to a No. 8 mirror finish, with manufacturer-rated image quality of Good.
Construction and mounting
- Reflective panel: 20-gauge Type 304, alloy 18-8 stainless steel with a No. 8 mirror finish.
- Frame: roll-formed 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, 3/4" x 5/8", with heliarc-welded corners polished smooth to a uniform satin finish.
- A concealed hanging bracket engages the top and bottom of the frame with tamper-proof set screws; a one-piece back plate attaches to the frame with a theft-resistant locking device.
Installation
Set the bracket level and plumb using #10 self-threading screws, which are by others. Hang the mirror and tighten the top and bottom locking screws. ASI's installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards says the reflecting surface's bottom edge should be no higher than 40" above the finished floor; verify applicable project requirements.
