Tempered-glass mirror with concealed interlocking frame
This 24 x 30-inch surface-mounted mirror pairs 1/4-inch tempered glass with a roll-formed, 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel angle frame. The frame’s welded corners are polished smooth to a satin finish. Its tempered-glass option has two silver coats, a hermetically sealed copper coating, and a back protected with waterproof paint.
A concealed hanging bracket locks to the top and bottom of the frame with tamper-proof set screws; a one-piece back plate attaches to the frame with a theft-resistant locking device. Install the bracket level and plumb with #10 self-threading screws, which are by others, then hang the mirror and tighten the top and bottom locking screws. ASI’s installation guidance says the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40 inches above the finished floor for compliance with the cited accessibility standards.
