ASI 0600-B1830 Inter-Lok Angle Frame Tempered Glass Mirror
The ASI 0600-B1830 is a surface-mounted 18" W x 30" H mirror with 1/4" polished tempered glass. Its tempered-glass construction distinguishes this model from the 0600 series plate-glass and stainless-steel mirror options.
Configuration details
- Reflective panel: 1/4" polished tempered glass with two coats of silver, hermetically sealed with electrolytic copper plating; the back is protected with heavy waterproof paint.
- Frame: Satin-finish, roll-formed 18-gauge Type 304 (18-8) stainless steel angle, 3/4" x 5/8", with heliarc-welded corners polished smooth.
- Mounting and security: A concealed hanging bracket locks at the top and bottom with tamper-proof set screws; a one-piece back plate attaches with a theft-resistant locking device.
- Installation hardware: Install the bracket level and plumb with #10 self-threading screws (by others), hang the mirror, then tighten the top and bottom locking screws.
ASI's cited installation guidance says the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40" above the finished floor for its referenced 2010 ADA and 2015 ABA standards. Confirm applicable project requirements.
