ASI 0600-6024 Angle Frame Mirror
The ASI 0600-6024 is a surface-mounted mirror with standard 1/4 in. plate-glass glazing and a satin-finish, 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel angle frame.
Construction and mounting
- Frame: Roll-formed, interlocking Type 304 stainless steel angle with heliarc-welded corners polished smooth to a uniform satin finish.
- Mounting: A concealed hanging bracket locks to the top and bottom of the frame with tamper-proof set screws. A theft-resistant locking device attaches the one-piece back plate to the frame.
- Standard glazing: 1/4 in. plate glass, warranted against silver spoilage for 15 years from invoice date.
Installation
Level and plumb the bracket, then fasten it with #10 self-threading screws, which are by others. Hang the mirror on the bracket and tighten the locking screws at the top and bottom. Manufacturer guidance for the cited 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards recommends positioning the bottom edge of the reflecting surface no higher than 40 in. above the finished floor; this guidance does not by itself establish project compliance.
