ASI 0605-6024 Stainless Steel Angle Frame Mirror with Shelf
The ASI 0605-6024 is a surface-mounted, 60 x 24-inch plate-glass mirror with a 5-inch-wide stainless steel shelf welded to the face frame. The frame and shelf are 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with satin-finish exposed surfaces.
Construction and glass
- The shelf edges are returned and hemmed for rigidity and safety.
- The frame has mitered, welded corners polished smooth; edges and corners are burr-free.
- Standard glazing is 1/4-inch #1 quality plate/float glass, silver-coated and sealed with electrolytic copper plating. It is warranted against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
- An expanded-polyethylene filler is water-resistant, abrasion-resistant and shock-absorbing.
Installation
Install the bracket level and plumb using #10 self-threading screws (by others), hang the mirror, then tighten the locking screws at the top and bottom. ASI's installation guidance for the cited 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards states that the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40 inches above the finished floor.
